Course Structure
Relevant to actual work operations
Course content is arranged according to the accounting process of large Australian companies. It is divided into four parts.

Session 1 – the most commonly used accounting ledger account in SAP
​
• Overview of terms in the SAP G/L General Ledger module
• Complete basic G/L general ledger accounting tasks based on actual cases
• How to apply G/L accounts, balances and rankings
• Process accounting document entry
• Month G/L account adjustment , such as SAP prepayments and accrued expenses processing
• SAP system exports important financial statements such as balance sheet, income statement, cash flow and GST tax statements
• SAP tips for improving work efficiency

Session 2 – Accounts Payable Related Accounting Processing

• Interpretation of terms in the SAP A/P module
• Setting up/updating credit and supplier accounts in the SAP system
• Entering supplier invoices, letters of credit and related clearing
• How to correct incorrect journals
• How to handle supplier records, balances and rankings Items
• External payment accounting such as checks and electronic funds transfer
• Automatic payment processing by schedule system
• Accounts payable adjustment in SAP system
• System exports important financial statements such as A/P information system, cash flow expenditure budget, A /P payment history, supplier list, etc.

Session 3 – Accounts Receivable Related Accounting Processing

• Interpretation of terms in the SAP A/R module
• Setting up/updating debt and customer accounts
in the SAP system • Checking and adjusting credit lines in the SAP system
• How to enter sales notes and billing
• How to dispose of the full payment, part of the payment , excess payment
• How to issue a credit letter of credit and pay a refund
• The system exports important financial statements such as A/R information system, customer balance and customer details, etc.
• How to handle debt compensation and implement debt collection process
• How to write off bad debts
• How to perform bank adjustment processing in SAP system

Session 4 – SAP Fixed Assets Asset Accounting (FIAA) component.

• Explanation of terms related to SAP asset module
• Check fixed asset clearing account changes, collect accounts payables
• Create fixed asset accounts and update data
• How to dispose of assets, transfer and reclassify
• How to correct fixed asset related errors
• Assets • Assets Depreciation processing, month-end closing and accounting adjustment
• Use the system to export important financial statements such as asset balance, total depreciation amount, asset history details, etc.
• Prepare fixed asset plan and cost budget
